Depression and anxiety disorders
Everyone gets stressed sometimes — it’s a normal response to the challenges of daily life. But intense fear and worry in situations that aren’t threatening can be a sign of something more. Anxiety disorders are common and treatable — just like depression.
Everyone experiences anxiety differently — but most people experience one or more of the following symptoms:
- Fear and worry
- Thoughts that something bad will happen
- Rapid heartbeat
- Being jittery
- Muscle tension
- Feeling out of breath or tired
- Sweaty or cold hands
- Not being able to sleep

Anxiety and depression
